Privacy policy

foodtastico is a cooking recipe site available at foodtastico.cl. It requires no account or registration, and we never ask for your email address.

If you rate a recipe or leave a comment, we store only what you submit: the score, the name you type (a pseudonym is fine) and the comment text, which is published after review. We do not ask for an email address or any other personal data. To prevent abuse, the IP address is processed only as an irreversible identifier (salted hash) that expires automatically; the raw IP is never stored.

We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights (production only) for aggregated, anonymous performance metrics, without tracking cookies.

Some recipes include a video hosted on YouTube. Until you press play, no request is made to YouTube: the thumbnail you see is served from this site. Once you press play, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and Google's terms apply from that point on.
